Catherine Tresa Alexander is an Indian actress and model. She has established her career predominantly in the Tamil and Telugu cinema and has also appeared in few Malayalam and Kannada films. She has won Edison Awards (India) and has been nominated for four Filmfare Awards South.
Catherine Teresa was born in Dubai to Frank Mario Alexander and Teresa Alexander. He studied 12th class in Dubai and went to Bangalore for higher studies.
While studying, he learned to play the piano and practiced singing, dancing, ice skating and debating, saying he believes he is "good at anything I have on my mind." In Dubai, Teresa was an Emirates environmental volunteer. At age 14, Tresa did some amateur modeling for fashion design graduate students. After coming to India, she modeled for Nalli Silks, Chennai Silks, Fast Track, Josco Jewelers and Deccan Chronicle. He has also filmed for the Maharaja Calendar of Srikanth Datta Vodiyar and has accompanied Prasad Pitaba on numerous arch shows across India
Duniya Vijay co-starred in the 2010 Kannada film Shankar IPS. In 2011, he did a role in the Kannada film Vishnu, which he said was "equivalent to his real life".
